We've done it again! This time we biked from Petra in Jordan up to Nazareth in Israel, to raise money for the Nazareth Hospital CT Scanner appeal. Nazareth is the largest Arab town in Israel, but they still don't have a dedicated Stroke Unit to cope with this devastating condition and major cause of death. 7Stanes in Belfast!

Those fine chaps from Scotland's mountain biking paradise were over in NI today, and a fine day it was too. Just look at this lad flying his bike!

Kirroughtree: Mountain Bike Madness

Perhaps against my better judgement, I let my little brother talk me into a trip to Scotland to tackle the 7 Stanes track at Kirroughtree Forest Part, just outside Newtownstewart in Galloway. Here's the GPS elevation profile, which really doesn't do our 32km justice. The tracks are marked like ski runs; most of this run was black, and it was tough going.



A couple of tumbles; no major injuries. I did take down a tree, however. Slid into it sideways off the track, and it and I ended up down the slope. All part of the fun...
